John Nolte: Al Gore Lied, James J. Lee Died

From conservative columnist and film reviewer John Nolte:
Today’s Inconvenient Truth: Al Gore Lied, James J. Lee Died

The topic is the whack-job terrorist who took hostages at the Discovery Channel's offices and who was subsequently shot dead by police.

My mother commented that she thought it was a shame that "the little man died." She felt that it would have been better for all if he had received the treatment he so desperately needed, because he was obviously sick in the head.

She may be right. Me, I'm taking joy from the fact that he's dead. Anyone who chooses the path of terrorism to advance their agenda deserves to have their carbon footprint reduced to Zero.

I wonder how long it will take the Huffington Post to start condemning Al Gore for inspiring violence. They seem quick to blame right-wing media figures for all sorts of things they have nothing to do with. Here, we have a guy who specifically stated he was inspired by Al Gore's movie. I was expecting to see my "daily brief" full of condemnations. But nothing yet.

I guess I'll have to be content with Roger Catlin treating the little freak with the disdain he so richly deserves.

Weird factoid: I'm seeing the "little man" referred to as Jason Jay Lee in some articles. Was this former parasite's name James or Jason?

  1. Did you even see Gore's movie? you really think he's a racebaiting bible-thumping hate-monger on the order of Limbaugh, Beck, or O'Reilly?
Your focus on schlock culture has resulted in schlock thinking.

  2. Yep. I saw "An Inconvenient Truth." I also wrote a review of it. I'll try to dig it out and repost it here. just for you, since you're becoming one of my biggest fans!

Schlock thinking, eh? I'm not the fellow who claimed I was "awakened" by the film and who then went on to take hostages. Where are all the hostage takers and would-be television executives who have been "awakened" by Limbaugh, Beck, and O'Reilly?

  3. Most people who call Beck a racist/hatemonger have never even listened to him, they just parrot what they hear from the media and what Keith Olbermann or Sean Penn says.

  4. I've no doubt Cory Jay has listened to Glenn Beck a lot. Why else would he bring him up? Me, I've maybe listened to 15-20 minutes in total over the years, so I can't comment on the guys opinions on anything. (Every time I have listened, he's been riffing with the producer about some sort of nonsense, no politics or religion at all.)

On the other hand, he DID assume that I haven't seen "An Inconvenient Truth," so maybe there's a bit of projection going on.

  5. There were black people who spoke at the Glenn Beck rally last Saturday, including Martin Luther King's niece. If Beck is so racist as left wingers claim, then how do they explain why they associated with the event.

  6. Here's a link to a story of a black man who went to the Glenn Beck rally. I guess left wingers think he's filled with hate.
