Writer, director, and master of the screwball comedy Blake Edwards passed away Wednesday, December 15, in Santa Monica, CA. According to his publicist, Edwards died of complications from pneumonia. He was 88.

Then again, he WAS 88, so.......
The only three Blake Edwards films I can think of without hitting IMDB are "A Shot in the Dark", "Operation Petticoat" and "S.O.B." The first two I love, the third I haven't seen since I was a kid, and I can't help but wonder if I were to see it as an adult if I'd have a better understanding an opinion of the satire of the movie biz it presented.
