I met Godfrey Ho in Cannes last year - he was probably the nicest person I met the whole time I was there.
ReplyDeleteAnd in all seriousness, I've also no doubt he's a very talented director. He got movies finished and delivered, which is a prime responsibility of a director, and he's made some pretty good ones along the way. I know some of the movies he made aside from the ninja patchwork films are actually pretty good. (And even some of those are darn entertaining.)
